This has been a year of milestones for HyperScience—we closed our Series B funding round, moved into the tallest building in New York City, grew our team past 100 people and achieved consistent double-digit growth month-over-month. In this year of landmark achievements, taking part in the FinTech Innovation Lab New York class of 2019 was a definite highlight.
We decided to apply for the Lab program as part of our continuous effort to refine our offering. We work with the world’s leading financial institutions to automate document processing and data extraction. To deliver the optimal value to our clients and prospects, it’s important to understand the challenges they face and how they use our solution in a real-world setting.
We recognized the Lab as a unique opportunity to get feedback from some of the world’s biggest banks and insurers about how we can better serve their needs. The Lab offered the chance to interact and network with top financial services organizations to uncover their changing requirements and pain points. It opened up partner conversations and served as another touchpoint with our customers.
Even as a funded company and a more mature startup than many of the companies that go through the Lab, we found that the program was a tremendous opportunity to speak with industry stakeholders and develop insights that can help inform our long-term roadmap.
Having completed the program, we can say that the network of people and the knowledge that the program brings together, as well as the support and programming it offers, is valuable for any fintech company – whether early-stage or later stage. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of the class of 2019 and can recommend this program to anyone looking to validate value propositions or refine products for the banking and insurance industries. It offers an unparalleled environment for collaboration and openness with some of the world’s largest financial institutions.
